Our Mixed Flock Journey!

I know you were upset by this behavior, but I was seeing the video through the eyes of “America’s Funniest Home Videos”, and I have to tell you, the way the Mean Chicken looks in the camera before doing the deed just sets it up!
This footage is actually kind of funny (as long as no one was injured.)
That being said, your idea of building a new space for Phyllis and maybe another polish or two might be the answer.
Ok. I can see that, sort of. But it still bothers me.

Lol! I'm getting 2 Legbars, 1 Wyandotte & 1 Orpington...when I'm ready to hatch my own chicks, I should have plenty of broody ladies to choose from...💞
I already have names picked for my Legbars & my Wyandotte...I need to come up with something for my little Lavender girl...taking into account that she won't stay little, if she's anything like my Ophelia! I also think I finally have a different name for Roo 2...he's needed his own name but it just never came to me until now! I'm going to mull it over until I get the new littles!
Hooray! :wee :wee :wee

My husband's aunt woke up...they were pretty amazed that she did. Sadly & not surprisingly she can't speak, but she seems to be understanding what is being said to her. She will be moved into a rehab facility, so there won't be any visitation right now. We will take dad up to visit whenever visitors are allowed. Thank you all for the support & concern shared! :hugs 💞
I hope she recovers her speech. It’s frustrating for people with a stroke when they can’t say what they want to say. :hugs

I love when TRUMP does that! He goes back and forth with my neighbor/friend from across the streets rooster. I would tease her and tell her that her roosters name was Biden and that they were debating 😆.... she did not like that.. she said if his name is Biden then she will fry him in a pan:gig
You are too funny sometimes. :gig :gig

That's great news! :hugs:hugs

I knew what you were saying....I just needed to acknowledge your loss! It's amazing how grief can affect everyone. When we lost my oldest brother in a car accident...I couldn't cry, my youngest was 6 weeks old and we brought my brothers almost 4 year old son into our home as his mother was severely injured in the accident. I had to tell the story over and over again as people called...it wasn't until we had his memorial that I lost control...I was just numb, I lost my other brother just 3 years before when I was 7 months pregnant with my daughter and I had a 2 year old that I had to take care of, so most of those tears came at night! Once in a while I still cry, even after all of these years.
:hugs :hugs :hugs
