They are big boys! Those roos are huge!!!
Good afternoon everyone! A lot has been happening! My mom is in the hospital again with problems related to her hip surgery. After talking with my sister it has been decided that she will be coming to live with us when she is healed from her current health issue.
The kitchen remodel continues.
On the chicken front I noticed today that one of my RIR girls has a very pronounced limp. I saw nothing unusual when I checked her over. I will keep a close eye on her to make sure she is not being picked on and getting plenty of food and water, hopefully she will start to improve soon.
It is a very lovely day here today, the sun is shining and the weather is warm! I hope you all have a beautiful day!![]()

No sign of trauma. She would have been 2 this spring.
I love that your marans follow you! Mine are the same way. It's so sweet until you trip over oneI forgot to post this yesterday. Hubs cut up the large branch that broke off of our Deodar Cedar from the snow this winter and attached it to the old posts that we had for our blackberries and raspberries. It is in a safe place under the tree's so no hawks can swoop down and get them. I kept trying to get a picture with the whole flock in it and I had to keep backing up because the Marans kept following me and getting under my feet!
