Our Mixed Flock Journey!

Such wonderful pictures - you really are inspiring me to think about getting serious about photography. And I am so sorry one of your flock died while you were away.
Don't feel bad, you can only do what you can do.
:hugs
Thank you! You should do it, I'm having so much fun with this!

Thanks RC...I know this, but you know how it is...if only...:(

You should check out the various wildlife photography competitions there are - you don't even have to compete if you don't want to - but it might give you ideas.
You really are very good and I am so grateful to you for sharing the pictures with us.
That would be a great way to get inspired. It would be a long time before I would dream of entering any competitions. I need a lens with a longer focal length for catching the birds in flight, my pictures don't come out super sharp...yet! Thank you RC! 💗

I don't know why I thought you were road-trippin. :idunno Flying definitely way to go. Get there and rent a car,,:thumbsup
Unless you are going for extended time,,,, anything more than a days ride,,,,,Fly for sure.
Maybe my thinking of driving is caused by what still runs thru my veins,, . After 40 years of driving big rigs,,,, cant shake it. View attachment 2844962
We talked about road-trippin and I still kind of wish that's what we we're doing. It's a very long trip...almost 3200 miles one way. If we drove, we would take our time and stop along the way...maybe next time! :)
I didn't know that you drove truck...I used to love talking to the truck drivers on the CB when I was a kid...we also did a lot of traveling for work!

I got a few pictures today! The ladies wanted to be close to me most of the time, so they were a little harder to photograph. It looks like my boys have been pulling each others tail feathers out... I need to spend some time tomorrow cleaning up their yard from the summer produce they have been enjoying!

Taking a break from keeping the other boys in line...he still has his tail feathers...so I think he's the main culprit!
