I finally found the piece of Hardware Cloth that I knew I had somewhere. I cut out a section of the foamboard so that I would have a window down below. I can slide it open so that I can stick my hand in with some food in it at their level! My husband is finishing up the other section of screen for the top!

I came out this morning and the first thing I did was check on my chicks...they were all peacefully sleeping as only babies can...then my phone made a loud noise and they all scattered, lol...what a bunch of chickens...

Yeah, the smaller space was my husbands idea, I didn't argue! I decided to try it and see how it worked, it was quickly shown that they needed more space!

Day 2! It's amazing how fast they start to feather out! I try to hand feed them every hour, some are more interested than others! Loving this and having so much fun!
