Another backyard project! We will be getting 3 rabbits in the next couple of days. 1 buck and 2 does. This is a picture of the rabbit hutch my husband built for our children's pet rabbits many years ago! We will need to add one more section, but for now the 2 does will share! We will be placing it in the expanded chicken pen area once that is completed! I will post a picture today of the new area!

What breed of rabbits are you getting? We used to raise California and NZ's when we had our place in Florida.

I was looking at NZ & Californians, but I'm honestly not quite sure what we are getting. The man that I will be raising the pigs for, knows someone who has rabbits and he is going to just give them to us, very generous of him, they are meat rabbits, so I'm hoping that they will be what I was hoping to get. I'll find out more once I get them!

I was looking at NZ & Californians, but I'm honestly not quite sure what we are getting. In the midst of sadness can come great joy! I am officially a grandma! Our firstborn grandson arrived today! He weighed 10lbs 8oz - 22.5" long, he & mommy are doing great! I don't know when it will be safe for us to meet him, I am longing for that day! My son & his wife don't want his picture on the internet & I agree 100%...but it's so hard not show him off!
