I'm off to town today. I'm taking my Silkie hen to give to my friend's little boy. I'm actually feeling kind of sad, she's a cute little thing. Like I said before, I'm sure she will get more love & attention than she does here. If she doesn't work out for them, I told her I would take her back...free trial! Lol

He's a critter person & was very excited to get her. I just hope she integrates well with the rest of the flock...she's pretty timid!

Well that silly hen was out of the pen again today! Dale went out to give them some fermented feed and he realized she was trying to get back in! So, when I got home I picked her up and we clipped one of her wings! Hopefully that will keep her in, we will know for sure tomorrow!

Brought in 5 eggs today! I sure hope that they start to get bigger, but I will be happy just to bring in a steady supply!

My friend sent me this picture and said that I could share it here! She was a little dirty when I dropped her off and I told them that it's okay to bathe her and that some people even use a blow dryer! Anyway Gavin gave her a bath and Kylie said she handled it really well. Gavin told his mom that he has her all tamed now, lol...
