All mine have been slow starters. I have 3 yet to get a chug~along.

I gave up waiting, so now I have cats and chickens.

Again,,,, not sure if this would help, but another thought.
What can you feed mama rabbit to give her the most benefit to produce the most milk, to feed the kits???
Would some of that formula be good to give to mama? also?

I don't think formula would help. I provide her with unlimited pellets, clean water fresh veggies & herbs and hay! The reason I will have to supplement is because she has so many kits...7 is average, I think she only has 8 teats, but I was encouraged when I saw 10 full tummies & not surprised that 3 didn't have as much. So, I think she's producing quite a bit of milk, but I don't know if she can produce enough for 13 kits even with lots of good food for her!

3. 1 gson, 2gds. Gs turned 4 today. 2nd, Gd was 1 last week.

Hi everyone! This is the first chance I've had to check in! I just got to my son's house. I will be watching the baby for the next couple of days while my DIL is working. My son is still at my house working on his Jeep with his big brother! They couldn't get everything done in time for him to come home, so I get more Declan time!

I went out this morning & checked on the kits, 10 of them had pretty full tummies, which I was very happy about. The other 3 looked like they managed to get some milk, but their tummies were a little wrinkly, so I tried to give them some more formula, I managed to get a little into them. My youngest son & husband will take care of them while I'm gone! I will be so amazed if they all make it! Still waiting for Chloe to show signs that she's going to kindle, if she does it will probably happen while I'm gone!

On the chicken front, my husband ran some twisted double strand wire onto the fence & released the jailbird from prison, hopefully that will keep her contained!

Beautiful grandkids Ribh!

No grands for me. That was something I always looked forward to while my 2 boys were growing up, but apparently they have other plans. I just get to enjoy reading about other people's.

They might surprise you yet Debby, I really hope they do! Both of my married children said they weren't going to have any...so Declan was a huge surprise!

Well, littliest filled her boots with water then sat in the puddle. I thought it was funny but I returned her pretty grubby.

Those rubber boots are made to hold water...in fact they do an awesome job of it...smart girl!

Every year I fly at half mast on this day.

I used to do White dove release with my grandchildren. I currently don't have doves now.
This is few years ago when I did have doves. I explained to them what this day was, and what it meant.
