Our Mixed Flock Journey!

When I went out to the pen today, the two Silkie roosters were very bloody...they tore each other up! I keep saying we are going to cull them...I just need to suck it up and get it done. They are opportunistic breeders...they don't have any hens that want to breed with them, so they wait until the other roosters are breeding, then run in, knock them off & take over. They are way too rough with my girls and I think it is causing a lot of stress in my flock. It's just crazy! 🙁

That just seems awful. I'm sorry this is going on. ☹
