Wow. It will be beautiful when it is all completed!

I'm looking forward to the finished product...I'm not looking forward to all of the work it will take to get there...I'm a lazy soul...actually, I'm a soul that's tired of projects...lol!

Phone alerts are an essential part of my life. I'd forget all sorts of things without an alert. I'm glad it worked out so well for you Bob!

Oh yes - sorry- I realized it was @drstratton's kitchen - it is a bad habit of mine - I just jump into the conversations randomly.

I think more of my girls are starting to lay again. I've been getting 5 a day for the last 3 days. @WhoDatChick, my sil bought me an egg holder for Christmas!

We got the linoleum & underlayment up in the dining area today...we also moved my computer desk to a temporary spot...when we get back from Oklahoma we will move it into the room where I'm keeping my son's cats...they aren't allowed free range of my house...because I don't want them to shred my new couch and yes they would do that. Tomorrow we will be cutting the counter top & moving the peninsula cabinet into its temporary location. We will also take up some more flooring. Then we will clean the cabinets & start staining.
Here's a couple of before pictures & a couple pics of what we completed today. My body is tired...things like this were a lot easier 20 years ago...I'm getting to old for this stuff!

You have a nice size kitchen I know it is a lot of work to re-do things but it's going to be beautiful when you're done! (Actually, the before pictures look good too.)

Good morning Debby! Thank you! @WhoDatChick has one and I really liked it, so I put it on my wish list! It will make it so much easier to keep track of the freshest eggs first.

Thank you, it does have a nice footprint. You can't see how sad the finish is on the lower cabinets and the counter and flooring are past their prime...it will be nice to give it a refresh!
