Our Mixed Flock Journey!

I just had a brainstorm about the decorator tiles. Luv them BTW.:love Do those tile kits come as Standard Sized combinations, and many different scenes available.? Would it make sense to make them easily replaceable.??? This would allow you to change scenes at will.:thumbsup I know there is this magnetic tape that could be glued onto back of tiles. It is about 1/8 inch thick. The backing to hold them up would have to be a metal sheet. (magnetic iron)
Just a thought:cool:
Another great idea! That way you can change it seasonally ❤
Btw, I am also getting ready for some major remodeling!

This must be the season for it...I think I've read of at least 4-5 other members doing re-mods.
Well, I tell ya... I cannot wait!! We moved here 6 and a half years ago so I figure it’s time. The house was built in the 70s but it has been updated since so it isn’t horrible. But the carpet MUST go! I believe it is the cause of my allergies!
We have done major remodeling at our last place and because of that we know how to approach this... that one, we did everything at once! This one, we’ll do in sections... first my bed and bath.. next, hall bath... and so on... that way we don’t get overwhelmed.. and we can take breaks in between projects...

We celebrate 12 days of Christmas the old School way. that means all comes to an end on January 6. My tree is holding up very well. no needles falling in excess.
Tree will be coming down, as well as all the other decorations including our Christmas scenery, that is sitting on top of our piano.

We do as well. Mrs. BY Bob mentioned this morning that she was finally ready to take it down. 2 more days.

I've been trying to decide what I want to have for a backsplash behind my stove. I'm thinking of adding a narrow shelf into the field tile and then I can switch out different tile pictures or metal art. I fell in love with this!

That is amazing! Wherever did you find that!

Doing it in stages sounds like a good approach! It's easy to get overwhelmed with too much at once.

Thank you, that's a great suggestion! If we put in the shelf, I want to be able to change up the background...I could even put different scenes for the holidays and seasons!

Oh that’s a great idea!! Thank you! 😉
You're welcome...:) I can't wait to see what you guys do in your bathroom. I'm already working on ideas for ours, but we won't start on it until the kitchen is done! We just ordered a new window for the kitchen...the one we have is broken, I will be glad to swap it out, it's a bit of an eyesore!

I'm excited for you...it's a lot of work, but worth it! Taking it in sections is the only way to go...that's what we're doing too!
