Our Mixed Flock Journey!

Today's kitchen project! Hubs finished building the new drawer boxes and added the drawer slides into the new cabinet! This is the cabinet that's replacing my desk, it's for small appliances & pantry items. I'm excited to have the extra storage. I stained them today and I'm now working on applying the grain filler to the upper cabinet doors, getting them ready to paint! The bottoms for the drawers will be added later as we decided to leave them unstained.

I really am in awe of you and hubs. I was so proud of myself when I built various small parts of the Chicken Palace myself - but for most of it I had professional help (tradies as MJ would say).

Good morning & thank you RC! My husband loves working with his hands, he's very much a craftsman and a total DIY man. We've saved a lot of money over the years. You should be proud of yourself, I love your chicken palace and I'm impressed with the things you've done! 💗 I really don't like tackling most projects on my own, I've done a few things, but most of it we do together. I don't have the same skill set my husband has.
