Our Mixed Flock Journey!

I have 3 legbars in my current flock. They're eggs are pretty but they are the flightiest birds I've ever had.

If by flighty you mean they fly everywhere, then I agree! Yesterday mine were flying up to the high roost and then flying down and then back up. Over and over. Just for fun I think!

What I mean by flighty is that they are very shy and non-human friendly. My 3 are almost 5 years old and are still scared of me.

QUESTION???? I know that the CCL's lay the blue eggs. What color eggs do the other legbars lay. @N F C and @RoyalChick

All of mine lay blue eggs. But I did find this in an old post: #2
"From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Cream Legbar is an autosexing type of chicken. This means that you can tell the sex of the chick at hatch, and they breed true. The Cream Legbar originated as a cross between Brown Leghorns and Barred Rock with some Araucana blood in them. This is reflected in the crest and the blue eggs that they lay. The egg colour is usually blue, though some will give olive eggs.[1]"

Your girls are so pretty too!:love Are they very flighty RC?
I don't really know because I have only ever had the ladies I have now (plus Scary RIP) so I don't know how to compare.
They certainly fly a lot and are always in rapid motion until they nap when the fluff up like big balls and bury their heads in the fluff. They definitely run around faster than the others but that may be because they have to do so in order to avoid being pecked by everyone else.
They aren't very cuddly but none of mine are really cuddly, and I can grab them if I need to pick them up to examine them.
They are friendly and are always under my feet when I am in the Chicken Palace.
They are much less assertive and in my face than Maggie is (she is a loud-mouthed RIR) but one of them has a thing about my ankles she pecks me on the ankle all the time.
So I don't know if that adds up to flighty. They are completely adorable and I wouldn't have them any other way! :love
