I have 3 legbars in my current flock. They're eggs are pretty but they are the flightiest birds I've ever had.

QUESTION???? I know that the CCL's lay the blue eggs. What color eggs do the other legbars lay. @N F C and @RoyalChick

Mine are blue (and small eggs). I know there are different kinds - @BY Bob was wondering about a white one previously, and I don't think they all lay blue eggs.

If by flighty you mean they fly everywhere, then I agree! Yesterday mine were flying up to the high roost and then flying down and then back up. Over and over. Just for fun I think!

They are birds. Go figure.

What I mean by flighty is that they are very shy and non-human friendly. My 3 are almost 5 years old and are still scared of me.

I think I would say no then, not particularly flighty.
Mine don't like being picked up and held but they are very friendly generally and always come forward with everyone else to say hello and take treats and follow me everywhere (ankle biting).
They are marginally less human-friendly than Maggie the RIR, but that may also be because Maggie was poorly for a while and got special food and treats and now regards that as her birthright. The Tradies who work on the Chicken Palace were huge Maggie fans and spoiled her rotten by sharing their breakfasts and lunches with her so that probably contributed to her friendliness as well!

My understanding is that all legbars are designed to lay blue eggs. I think that once you move away from cream legbars there is a small chance of getting a green egg here or there.

I have it written down! But that is not the same as keeping it in my head.
I was feeling pretty proud of myself that when I read the word I recognized it as my kind of chicken.
Seems I will have to try harder to satisfy you.
