Yes, yes I am! I'm starting to feel like it's slowly getting back to pre-Covid levels! We are actually going to town tomorrow to get our vaccine...hopefully we don't get sick! Then we have our Golf trip in less than 3 weeks! I don't think we will be finished with the kitchen, but we're going anyway! Thank you Jehane...it was very enjoyable!

I was having the same thought - until Easter Sunday I hadn't been anywhere for a year!

That's a long time! We've definitely been home more than usual! It's kind of nice to slow down once in awhile, but I hope it's never caused by another pandemic again. Did you get to be with family on Easter RC?

While I was gone my son said he only found 5-6 eggs per day in the nesting boxes...we were getting 8-10 before we left. I was sick Monday & crunched for time yesterday, so I didn't really have much time to find where the other eggs were being laid, but I knew there had to be more. I did peak into the coop yesterday and found 11 eggs in the corner, right under the roosting bars...those took a bit of cleaning... Today when I went out to give everyone their treat and I noticed that my FBCM hen was missing and she wasn't in the coop. I found her beside the little covered area in our enclosed pen, which is an area I thought I had blocked off, but they finally figured out how to squeeze their way in there, I will be remedying that. I went back into the house then came out to see if she had moved. I found 25 eggs and I also found 9 in the nesting boxes with a RIR waiting to lay hers!
As you can see Spazzy still hasn't figured out that she needs to tuck the eggs under her if she wants to hatch any... I think I have around 6 dozen eggs right now!
