Our Mixed Flock Journey!

Good morning all! Yesterday was crazy busy worked on the kitchenin th morning, the went to town. Today we are heading to Spokane to pick up the lacquer finish for the upper cabinets & to look at slabs for the countertops. Tomorrow we are heading to Yakima so Dale can play in a golf tournament, so I will have some time to myself, which means I will have some BYC time. Have a good day & I'll see you all tomorrow! 💞

Thank you Bob. This is such a busy week. I thought I was going to have today free, but I have to go to the Tri-Cities & hubs goes to Yakima. Tomorrow we go back to Yakima to get our 2nd vaccine, then we head to Seattle to look at more slabs. I found some that I kind of liked yesterday, but we decided we wanted to view all of our choices. This is the biggest expense of the whole kitchen & I want to make sure that I really love it. I hope you have a great day! 💗

Larger investment means making a more careful choice, since it is not likely to be replaced for MUCHO TIME. :thumbsup

Agreed and I'm pretty certain that this countertop will never be replaced by me...lol

I'm pretty excited about the different choices I found online today, so, Seattle here we come. Hopefully we will be able to get to each store before they close or we will be spending the night and we need to get back home so we can get the cabinets in for the final countertop measurements! Traffic can be pretty horrendous over there! Bumper to bumper... 🚗🚕🚙🛻🚌🚓🚎🚑🚒🚐🚚🏍️🛺🚛 😂

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA. We had our 2nd shot on Thursday, then headed straight to Seattle, picked out our countertop slabs & headed home. I'm so glad we didn't stay on the west side, about an hour after we got home I started feeling really achy & feverish. I was sick for a solid 3 days, I had a very strong immune response to the 2nd vaccine, which I guess is a good thing. I'm starting to feel better, but still wiped out. My daughter & her husband came to visit for an early Mother's Day. I'm so glad they did as they were a huge help this weekend. We actually have 2 of the lower cabinets in place! Anyway, I wanted to say hi. Hope you've all had a great weekend! 💞
