Our Mixed Flock Journey!

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA. We had our 2nd shot on Thursday, then headed straight to Seattle, picked out our countertop slabs & headed home. I'm so glad we didn't stay on the west side, about an hour after we got home I started feeling really achy & feverish. I was sick for a solid 3 days, I had a very strong immune response to the 2nd vaccine, which I guess is a good thing. I'm starting to feel better, but still wiped out. My daughter & her husband came to visit for an early Mother's Day. I'm so glad they did as they were a huge help this weekend. We actually have 2 of the lower cabinets in place! Anyway, I wanted to say hi. Hope you've all had a great weekend! đź’ž

Hi Rene, so sorry you were ill (I thought you'd gone on another trip and I'd forgotten where).

Take care of yourself and don't over-do :hugs

Morning Debby! Thank you, I think I'm doing good today. :hugs đź’—
We have been traveling a lot and are actually going to be gone today & coming home tomorrow. Dale's playing in another golf tournament a couple of hours away and we decided to relax by staying overnight. It will give me another day to recoup. Then hit it hard again when we get home.

For what it's worth, I painted my kitchen walls Dark Green. All the kids protested madly. They thought I should have stuck with neutral tones. The man & I love it. The cabinets are white & there's not a lot of wall [big windows so lots of natural light] & the benchtops are wood.

That’s a nice view and I love that green!

My Wisteria is in full bloom and smells heavenly! I've wanted to place a bench under this for years, hopefully I will get it done this year!

Beautiful! I love the smell of Wisteria! Our neighbor had one in CA and when the breeze blew in the evening the smell would waft into my bedroom :love

Happy to know you’re feeling better Rene. I’ve heard the second shot can be tough.
