Your welcome to stay with us if you ever want to visit Hershey! I love it here. Having traveled across the nation for a living I have been to 49 states. I am only missing Nevada. Despite that, this is my favorite place.

One of my favorite trips was the week I drove across Washington from Seattle all the way to Idaho. It is an amazing experience. Simply stunning country.

Thank you so much for the invite! I will for sure come & visit if we ever get into your neck of the woods.

How are things Rene?

First, I need to go check out BINGO...as soon as I get a chance that is...sounds like you guys are having fun!

I'm doing okay! We've had a couple of setbacks on the remodel. They messed up the cut on our slabs & have to reorder them. Thankfully the slab place still has the next 2 in the bundle available. They are remeasuring on Thursday & hopefully installing no later than next week.
We messed up on two of our upper cabinet doors & we need 2 new ones...it's a long story. I was hoping to report that we were finished painting...but it will be a while before we are. Hubs doesn't want to build more doors (he's tired of this project), so we found a guy on etsy with very reasonable prices & ordered from him.

I'm missing my time with all of you. We are getting ready to hang all of the finished doors today, so I have to get back to work. I hope you're all doing well. Take care everyone!

Bingo was yesterday as part of the Fair contests: official-byc-2021-summer-fair—bingo.1472079 It was a big hit, I hope it will get played again.

Ugh, sorry abut the set backs. They are discouraging but you'll get it done and will have a beautiful kitchen when it's all finished!

I'm sorry I missed out on it!

Life happens...we were a little discouraged, but yes, it will be done soon. I love it already. I'll share pictures when we finally get the countertops in place!

Hi Bob, thanks for the encouragement! We're getting close! Countertop should be installed on Thursday of next week. It will be 2-3 weeks before we get the cabinet doors. Once received, we should be able to paint & hang them in just a couple of days.
