Our Mixed Flock Journey!

Of course there is a serious side of me as well.
Here are some links to good imformative reading.

I know that repellants are good, but not everyone is able/wants to tolerate those containing Deet.
Picardin is another good one, but has some drawbacks for certain individuals as well. I think Avon's Skin So Soft, formulated a version containing Picardin.

The leesser potent, but still effective is Lemon Eucaliptus Oil. I think It may be the safest to use, I'm still researching. :idunno

Thank you for making me laugh & for the information Cavey! I've never seen the Lemon Eucalyptus oil, I might check it out.

I am being plagued by deer fly rather than mossies this year. Deer fly are big and they really hurt.
I hate deer fly. I got bit by one the last time we were out fishing. I had a 3" round welt on my leg, it was hard and took a couple of weeks to clear up...miserable insects!

Good afternoon everyone! We left the house around 6 this morning. We drove about 1.5 hours, I dropped my husband off at a golf tournament & then I drove about another hour so that I could go antique shopping. I had a fun morning browsing through the stores. I'm back at the course waiting for him to finish. I wanted to check in and say hi! And here he is. I hope you are all having a fantastic day! 💞

I found lots of stuff, but I only bought one thing. I've been wanting a country style cheese grater. I found 3, one wasn't in the greatest shape, one was too expensive & the one I bought actually came with 2 other graters for several dollars less than the expensive one.
