These 2 items I sent to my DD#1 for use on the grandchildren. The youngest especially reacts to insect bites more than the other 2 older ones.

I am the opposite kind of strange duck. I love vinegar. I drink the vinegar the pickled cucumbers come in straight from the jar. But only when nobody is looking!

We have quite a few in our family that would do the same...

I am allergic to yellow jackets, red ants, and a few unknown bug stings. Spider bites turn into huge swellings. I’ve had this problem with bugs since I moved south. In PA all that ever bit me was mosquitos (well, and yellow jackets twice).
When I want to be outdoors in nature I have to wear long sleeves and long pants, and boots. Ugh!

That would not be fun Kat, I'm sorry! I wear sundresses all summer long, I don't want to wear pants until the weather cools down, but I'm thinking I might have to in the evenings now.
Dale went around our property looking for anything that might have stagnant water and dumped it out along with any mosquito larvae growing in it. Hopefully that will help to reduce our mosquito population!

I did try this and it offered a bit of relief, thank you! Thankfully when I woke up this morning the swelling has gone down quite a bit and it's not quite as itchy. I was also able to get a pretty good nights sleep!

Just not scratching the itch helps. Our place is bug infested in summer too. I feel your pain.

It wasn't very windy. This is the tree we've been planning to cut down, but it got so hot we decided to wait until it cooled down. Well, it's down now!

I caught my new girl in a nesting box! Hopefully I will eventually be able to get a good picture out in the open! When I first searched Fayoumi, this is the coloring I saw, but I didn't look further. Now, I'm pretty sure she's not a Fayoumi, just a barnyard mix. Hopefully, I can get a better idea, when I get a look at her outside.

One of my RIR girls is broody and this is what I found today...Maximus is keeping her company...what a goof...lol! I wonder if he just needed to get away from Roo!
