I am missing in action a lot these days, and for happy reasons. We have been having company come down the last month, and lots of festivities as a result.

Remember your chickens will love jumping up on stumps and logs and will really love the bugs that hide underneath. You should leave some scattered around in your yard.

That's a great idea RC! I just told my husband, we'll have to put some out there for them.

I think it’s a good idea to get a peahen for your peacock. He will be more content and happy.
I am willing to bet that you could sell fertile peafowl eggs and even chicks. They are so pretty and ornate.

Yeah, I think he will like the company. As to fertile eggs, if any of my friends here want some, I would be more than happy to share...share means free of course!

Good morning all! I hope you are all doing well! We just got back from our mini trip to Oregon and now we're getting ready to head out again. Just before we left, we found out that they declared our car a total loss...just doesn't make any sense. So now we have to find another car , we looked at a couple on our trip, but they had issues, so we now have decided to wait until we get back home from Florida in October.

The flock is doing well! Enjoying some watermelon!

Some pictures from our trip! We had such a lovely time.
I went out and played golf with hubs and our 2 brother in laws, his sisters came along for the ride.

I was so excited to catch this while on the course! Can you see how many there are???

My brother in law taught me how to smooth out water movement in my pictures...so cool!

Water Skimmer...not sure that's what these are called, but it's what we call them!

Multnomah Falls! I think I shared a picture of this from our trip to CA, but my new camera did a much better job. I didn't have my wide lens with me, so this is taken in two parts. I also have a picture of the full waterfall, but liked how these turned out better.

Wow - your pictures are really stunning - of course I love the ducks 'bottoms up' but the water smoothing ones are also amazing. So glad you are letting us share the joy of your new camera!

Hi RC! Thank you!!! I thought the ducks were so cute...I took way too many photo's of duck butts...lol! It was so nice of my brother in law to show me how to take those water pictures...he spent quite a bit of time showing me stuff and giving me tips! I'm glad that you're enjoying them!
