I gave the girls some corn on the cob. A first for the littles, it took a bit before they realized it was actually a tasty treat. But, my big girls knew what it was. I broke 5 ears in half and spread them around.

Peacefully enjoying their treat.

Wait, they dare eat what is mine...

Penny and Maybelline could have their very own cob, but they had to chase the littles off of any they were enjoying, bullies...

Sitting in the shade of the pen, listening to the sweet sounds my girls are making and the slight breeze rustling through the trees, is almost enough to put me to sleep!

I was out in the chicken pen starting to revamp the watering system and sat down for a moment. The back of my thigh started to sting and sting and sting! I couldn't rip my off fast enough, dang ...

My Rainbow Eggers. That's what Dunlap Hatchery labels these girls. They don't have pictures of them on their website, so we had no idea what they'd look like. I can't wait to see what color their eggs are.
