That's really cool! I have a dove on my property who just set up in a pine tree and has been trying to call his mate.

So, we had a bit of a huge scare.

My GF was trying to be helpful and put bird-seed by the doves, but it freaked it out and it flew off. Later she found a broken egg with a baby chick inside and she was totally upset that she might have caused the parent to kick the egg out when she put the see up by it.

She was so upset that she spend about an hour and a half pouring over all the videos. She couldn't see an egg flip out when the dove left, but it happened really fast.

She went back before the incident (happened on Sunday) and it looked like there were only two eggs inside the nest. Today she was finally able to see two eggs again.

So, our theory is that the broken egg was pushed out well before my GF (with good intent) scared the parent off the nest.

That would be so wonderful and amazing!!! We'll watch it all on video! I just wish there was an easy way to webcast from a waze camera.

Well, this was pretty interesting / entertaining!

My GF confirmed that the sounds are not well represented when the doves are close to the camera. She was outside and it sounded more like "regular cooing".
