linoleum for sure. Keeps moisture off of subfloor and that will help keep the smell down.
I use short roun logs to hold my waterers and feeders.It works great! They are probably 6" or 7" high.Hint: Try to find a diameter of log that is the same diameter of your feeders so they won't be tempted to jump on the edge(which would defeat the purpose.)
I have 22 hens and it's been my experience that your nesting boxes might be too high. I have found the nesting boxes should be around 12" off the ground. I don't think the roosting pole needs to be any higher.
I'm wondering if you'll need to istall a couple more vents.
The only way to know for sure is using it a little. If it's too hot and smelly just pop a couple more in and your cool...
