Our new dog Ziva!

We just rescued her from the Easter Oregon Humane Society when we were in the Tri-Cities area visiting my sister. That place was a nightmare, total chaos. Fell in love

then realized for 150 she had no shots and wasn't spayed

But love is love and home she came. According to my vet she is about 18 months, and they have no idea on the breed, lol. I think its terrier of some kind and dachshund maybe. The vet said she looks like a miniature McNab She is only 10 pounds right now but stands to put on a few, poor little bony thing. She has been a great addition to our family so far!
Oh and her name is Ziva, after Ziva on ncis

Awwwww....she is cute! And the kids are adorable and seem to be happy with her.
From the shape of her head I would say she has some rat terrier in her. RT's are nice family dogs.

My hubby's family raised Rat Terriers for quite some years and his mother and sister still have them. So I am happy if indeed it is Rat Terrier, lol. They always just wanted us to buy one, but we really prefer to rescue so we had been hoping for just this dog. I believe dogs find us as much as we find them.
