Timber's a good name! With his lighter brown points and large ears, I think he's part Doberman, but his proportions will change when he's older, so who knows!

Timber. Could shorten to Timmy. A two-syllable name is always better. Practice with standard commands.

Timber, Heel!. Vs. Chance, Heel.
Timber, Come! Vs. Chance, Come.

Timber just rolls off the tongue easier. IMO. Then for making nicknames, where do you go with Chance? Chancie? Channy? But with Timber you can go Timmy, Timbo, Timbanana, Timmyboy ...

Timber gets my vote.

I don't see pit either. Maybe Lab, possibly Weim or some kind of pointer. He's a handsome boy and no doubt has tons of energy. He'll be fun to work with.
