Oh and KEEP HIS WARM. Take a bottle, 1 liter or something and fill it up with warm water and put a towel over it. Let him curl up in the towel. It will mimic the cramped space that the nest would be. But be careful, as the bottle of water cools, it will pull heat FROM him. You can also use a heating pad but if you do, put it under the box and give him an area to get away from it.

We will want to bury himself in some towels...

He is in a box stuffed with leaves like a nest right now. When there this young can they climb because he was.

They can climb, but not to effectively, why do you ask?

I was in the house when my brother found him. When I came out the squirel started going up the tree pretty fast then he came down and started following us.

He is on the front porch right now.

You can try to see if he heads back to a nest. But him out and go inside and watch him from the window. Most likely he wont....

He might do okay outside, depending on temps. he usually has mom and bros to keep him warm...
