Our newly hatched button quails!

We got some button quail hatching eggs and they hatched today. OMG. They are so friggin tiny. The eggs these babies are standing next to are chicken eggs, for a size reference. I can't wait for the 24 hours to be over so I can hold one!!

You don't need to wait 24 hours to remove them. Buttons won't do well waiting that long to eat/drink. I usually remove my buttons when they are fluffed and walking.

They have food and water. I was told I need to wait 24 hours before handling them. That's not right? Omg. I need to hold one right now! Lol

I have never waited 24 hours. Over the 2 years of hatching and owning buttons, I remove once fluffed and dried.
Just be careful, they are small and very fast lol

Yep, Button quail are the size of Bumblebees at hatch! Cute!!

8 so far. There're 10 more eggs.
