Our orphaned little gosling

Our little gosling is making progress towards more independence. She's starting to spend long periods of time with our grown goose and duck outside. Up until this she has been mostly a house goose, which isn't very practical as you all well know, since geese poop very frequently.

This week 2 ducklings and 2 goslings will arrive to keep her company. Her world will be really opening up!

That is so special... thank you for sharing! I have a soft spot for Canada geese... I always stop what ever I am doing when they fly over. Someday I want to get some Cacklers, after I build them their own building and get a permit to have them.
