THANK YOU very much Jean. I sincerely do appreciate your support and prayers for Mike.
God bless you.

Great danes to chi...chiwau...oh...snake snacks lol
(kidding), that is quite a change there Jean. I personaly am quite loyal to the large breeds of dogs.I affectionately refer to anything under 100#'s as a snake snack or a waste of dog food lol.Don't missunderstand me. I LOVE all dogs.Dem littelins jist aint my forte' lol
I got my first Rottie as a resuce,I took her from a lowlife that was using her to fight, and as soon as i established our pack order i fell head over heals in love with the breed. My 2nd rescue,a male, wasn't far behind.
A lot o' folk don't understand the neccesity or the IMPORTANCE of a pack order with dogs, especialy your large working breeds. If a dog aint livin in a pack, it's not happy and the bottom line...it jist aint bein a dog.

Again, i thank you very much for your support and prayers for Mike.

We have our Rock-he is eleven and is an american rottie. We had to put our female german rottie down at 12.
Rock and the chickens don't pay any attention to eachother. The chickens will walk all over Rock's bed while he is laying there, he just looks at them like he's saying, just don't poop on my bed!
I will try to post pics, it doesn't always work for me, stupid computers!

As i originaly said tho. My dogs are DOGS, therefore they have no desire to harm anyone that comes near my "pack" unless you have bad intentions towards me or mine.

I wish to GOODNESS I could get my sister to understand that concept.

She will NOT listen to me when I tell her she has got to make her 2 dogs (mixed breed, shorthair part GShep/??) that she and/or husband are Alpha dog. She lets them lean on her/you until they nearly knock you down, and says "isn't that sweet how much they love you?".. She doesn't believe me when I say they're showing dominance by that and by putting their heads on your feet, and jumping up to put their feet on your shoulders. The female is friendly & outgoing and the male is somewhat shy and suspicious. Neither is vicious, but they (correction: SHE!) is in desperate need of some training! Thanks for posting your pretty girls & handsome fellow.
Regards, crtrlovr (very new here, but loving it already!
