Our RI Red vomited blood tonight

Help! My husband said one of our RI reds had a bloody vent when he went to close the girls up tonight. He directed the flash light into the coop and when it reached her she vomited blood. Any ideas? Do we need to separate her from the other girls? She seemed fine earlier today. Thanks!

Separate her right away! Is she showing any other symptoms?? I'm sure someone will be here to provide advice soon. But it never hurts to separate them, but it can be deadly not to.

Geez, I hope she didn't get into some rat poison or something.

We don't have any rat poison around but they do roam the yard during the day.
