Here's some pics of our mixed banty's we got early April. Not sure on their breeds thought I'd ask for some help and show them off at the same time. Sorry pics are kinda grainy had to use my phone....

Abe Lincoln- was told he was a pullet and also started soft yellow and was named Woodstock but I believe he's all boy and his name has been changed....

Chewbacca - was really fluffy as a baby but has become more sleek as she grows. Very inquisitive and loves my attention!

Cleopatra - Super fluffy and soft and sweet. She has the most beautifully feathered feet I have ever seen!

Wonder Chic- Lovely gold laced feathers!!!

Ming Ming - our full sized baby. Came out of the red pullet box.

Jelly Bean - super tiny and sweet has a little bit of cream color on her head and neck. She has the strangest little sounds and is so tiny, we call her the runt.

First one I'm thinking cochin, though I don't own that breed so I'm guessing when I call the color red.

Second one, definitely a dark brahma pullet. The male dark brahmas feather out completely different from the females.

Third and fourth cochin, black and golden laced maybe?

Fifth one...??????

Jelly Bean I don't have a clue on breed, but I'm pretty sure it's a pullet.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I had no clue what Chewbacca was! I've not had a brahma before! I've heard they were nice birds.

They are awesome birds. She may be very late to start laying, two of my dark brahmas were over 9 months old before they started, but lay she will - in winter, summer, it doesn't matter. Plus, they are very laid back, cuddle bugs.

Red cochin ROO

Dark brahma pullet

Black cochin pullet

Gold laced cochin pullet

Golden comet, etc it's a sex-linked egglayer. Pullet.

And I honestly have no clue what Jelly Bean is. Sorry

Thanks! Pretty close to what I was thinking. I was pretty sure of the Cochins but had no clue about the other 2 and Jelly Bean I was guessing is some kind of game. We've had an OEGB in the past. 2 of them but they were both brown and her tail doesn't stick up like theirs did but she is still young so maybe that will come. We'll see what she looks like as she gets older...

Hope Abe doesn't turn out like our other cochin roo! He was pure evil!
