our Tom turkey is thankful!

    We love our Tom turkey & never had plans to eat him yesterday! He was looking happy and thankful to still be strutting around yesterday! [​IMG] Hope everyone had a GREAT Thanksgiving! Oh...I am not against eatting your own birds, in fact I may do so next year if I have too many Toms [​IMG]

    My toms are thankful that I hate plucking birds and that I haven't yet saved up enough to order all of the parts for the Whizbang I want to build.

    But as soon as I sell a few more of them I will have so next year is going to be different!

    My toast to our tom was more like a eulogy than a toast. Had a few tears in my eyes.

    Mine was doing the same thing! I've had him for about a month now and have not seen him strut or gobble and yesterday he was doing both! I was amazed, haha.
