Our Wild Turkeys Are Grown Up! (Game Cam Pics!)

Back in the beginning of July, I posted a gamecam shot of a mother turkey and her 12 babies that were using our chicken feeder as a stopover.

We have a Fall season for turkies here. I love wild turkey, they are beautiful to watch and delicious to eat.

This am my husband saw a 12 point deer when coming in from work. Hopefully, we will be able to get him this season. He would feed our family for a long time. I love watching wildlife, it's amazing.

Funny thing is Bluey....Mr. Crow doesn't seem to face anybody.

Great pics. I love the wild turkeys. We have them here at our house also. I only saw three babies this year. They don't come around so much in the summer. Now they come by alot to get some scratch which I put out under our bird feeder. I am jealous of your deer tho. Here is a video of our turkeys last year if you want to see some gobbling. they are so funny.

My Game Cam is a Moultrie Infra-red Game Cam. It takes crystal clear pictures during the day and wonderful infra-red shots at night with no flash to scare away animals.

I pretty much use it to alert me to the presence of a raccoon or possum, but it captures all kinds of assorted wildlife including the chickens. I can review pictures of the coop area every day if I wish. If anything happens near the coop area, it will be caught on film.

I am so addicted to the camera and would highly recommend this model. Buy it at Walmart and sometimes they have it for $179. It lists for $225 and above elsewhere.

The only suggestion I would make is that if you buy this model, get some electrical putty to waterproof it. The gasket it comes with is pretty flimsy.

I have yet to change batteries (6 Ds) in 4 months and it can take over a thousand pictures with a 1GB memory card.

As far as g's comment about the bunny, I don't see it but we do have plenty of bunnies and two kittens roaming around as well.
