Outdoor Aviary Birds

Ok two things. Can a peacock-pheasant be kept in a pen with other fowl such as wood ducks, mandies, quail and golden pheasants? Also are their vaccines or dewormers you should give pheasant and or peacock-pheasants?

They can be kept with woodies, and mandrins and quail, but I wouldn't put any other pheasant with them. All pheasants should be wormed 2 times per year, more for your diggers such as impeyans, eareds, and cheers.
Now remember you need to provide heat for them if they come from a warmer climate, unless you are warm also.If they are already climatized you are all set.

Two more questioned yours are all climatized correct? So you would recommend keeping them with golden pheasants? Even if they have plenty of room. the two pairs will have over 500 sq feet.

pheasants are very agressive birds protecting there area . so two pens needed for two pairs pheasants . there may even be problems with other kinds of birds being there in the same pen.

My greys are climatized, but I just got the germains so they are in the basement until spring.I wouldn'd suggest putting any 2 breeds of pheasant in the same pen.No matter how much room they have they will still be in contact with each other.
I like my bird to be set up for breed season year round so they are familiar with their surroundings and they feel secure.

Er.. some to most birds mentioned, are aggressive at very least when nesting, where they may at very least stress selves and rest to death, when kept together. peafowl n guinea and some others need an eight foot perch to do good/feel secure roosting (yes they may breed even but so do puppy mill dogs, so doesn't mean even decently and stress free kept). Tiels alone, are extremely loud (more so than all my guinea together), and are extremely aggressive (except one rescue pair i had), and attack and can kill much larger even than selves. quial easily can fall, be chased into pond, n be decapitated or pecked to death by many birds. if your going to extremely heavily plant and rock etc scape greenhouse, maybe no trouble, but then you'll never see anything hardly, and all together hard making sure simple carried ailments are not spread and each incubating some to point to kill others. outside influences get in, less if all. smallest gauge hardware cloth used all over under bottom and all around rest. How do you plan to make sure each gets specific special diets etc, n keep some from getting things that can be bad for at least? better option is to use netting to seperate some from others.. I've kept well tried multi species aviaries before, some can work good to degrees, most don't do good at all sadly. I have hard enough time free ranging many species, getting them leaving eating right feeds, n nesting n not nesting/not trying to rob or off others nesting. i do love your idea, and wanted/ing to convert large grenhouse, n old pens here to do something smaller on multi species plan. scovies easy friendly n extremely clean, compared to other ducks, and i use to foster to make skittish species extremely easier and friendly, non commercial varieties seem exotic to me at least.
good luck to you and keep thread updated please!
