Outside or Inside

Feeder and waterer outside or inside the coop?
What are the benefits/disadvantages of doing one over the other?

Inside so the chickens can understand the coop is there home

I put food and water outside. The coop is for sleeping and laying eggs in and they don't need food and water in the evenings or at night. I let them out and feed them first thing and they are fine with that.
