None of my 5 KCs survived, and 3 of the 4 warmth chicks died. We have one very weak chick, the smaller gosling is questionable, the bigger gosling is eating and drinking. The smaller gosling has eaten and drank, she (I assume the smaller one is my female haha) is cuddled up against the warm rice sock I put in the mama cave. Big boy is out wandering the brooder. I forced a little water on the chick and tucked him against the sock. Pretty sure he isn’t going to make it. Maybe he will surprise me.

The Magpies are bullies! And one of the older KCs, his color is more a grayish brown than the others, is convinced my fingers are food. He runs right over and chomps on my thumb every time I reach into the brooder

Picture overload! Ignore the messy brooder, I swear we emptied and cleaned it this morning! (Actually I am loving this wire bottom, the cave area stays dry, and even the dishpans are working because the towels under weren’t wet when we changed them this morning)

Weighed the geese today, one weighs 3.5oz more than the other. I’m assuming the larger is the male, hopefully I’m right because my son is dying to name them LOL
