Overjoyed Making Contact With Another Flock

    It was 18* here this morning and the sound carrying properties were fantastic.
    It’s been almost a year since the chicken craze swept through here and despite the no rooster ordinance I could hear roosters answer mine this morning in every direction.
    My 6 hens got so wound up they started to crow and make sounds I’ve never heard before. Then I could hear other flocks talk back and mine sounded like they were overjoyed to make contact with another flock.
