Hello Everyone!
I have a duck who seems to be overweight and has started to walk in a weird way. I am worried about what might happen if I don't take action. I have two other ducks and they have stayed at the same weight. Never had ducks before and it has been hard raising them. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You!

What are you feeding?
5 Grain Scratch mixed with some chick starter. The three of them refuse to eat layer and grower. The one in the picture has been walking really weird which I think is related to it's weight.

Scratch is not an appropriate feed. Give them 18 or 20% maintenance or all flock feed wjth a free choice side of oystershell.

It's more likely due to niacin deficiency. Doesn't look overweight. You need to get them eating more of a balanced feed. Flock Raiser is a good maintenance feed for ducks. Mix their scratch with feed so that it's about 50/50. Then increase the amount of feed a bit everyday till they are only eating the feed and no grains at all.
Or you could just eliminate the scratch completely and wait them out. Eventually, they will eat.

I ordered some flock raiser and will begin to change up the diet immediately. Would Brewers Yeast help with the niacin? Hopefully it will solve the weird walk my duck has.

Also, anyone know what breed they may be? I think the two black ones are Cayuga because of the green tint that they had a while ago and I think the white one may be some kind of runner.

Thank You All

Cayugas don't usually have much for white. They may be Cayuga though, some get white as they age. The back one isn't a runner, it looks mixed.
