Oxine in Waterer - Ducks

I likely wouldn't use oxine for such a small container. I believe it is easy to use too much. Used properly, it is a disinfectant that will kill most bacteria, fungi and viruses. It is primarily used in automated drinking water lines for poultry and other livestock. For a gallon fount it is much easier to use chlorine bleach or hydrogen peroxide occasionally when you dump and clean the gallon fount.
Adding the ACV will slow the sliming process a bit.
I think its use for respiratory issues in ducks is in a fogger. That may be cost prohibitive for a handful of birds.

Thats the website where i place my order for the Oxine, its coming today!

On the website you just shared above, it says "I use 1/8 tsp/gallon of water in my chickens’ drinking water every other day to keep down the biofilm (slime) that forms on the inside of the waterers." So do you think 1/8 tsp per gallon will be okay for them to drink?

I've tried other things for disinfecting incubators but from all my research, it is the best way to go because it is more of a fumigation that gets into parts you can't reach by hand.
Maybe next year I'll expand to using it to fumigate coops and for the automatic water system.
