Oxine.

Hi would like to know if anyone has used Oxine? and what you think about it. read a great article about it and think it would be a good product to have for our back yard birds.

Thanks I just ordered some and I did read not to get the activator, but do you just use a regular spray bottle?those foggers are sure expensive

Thanks 1mommahen never thought of that, and we have one that was given to us and never used so will have to pull it out.

I have Oxine and have only sprayed it from a spray bottle. I'm not sure how all to use it. So I should get a fogger and fog the coop and run? And I know this is crazy, but can it be used outside on brick or cement? I forgot I had it till I read this thread and the timing is perfect since I'm now treating 2 hens with bacterial infections. Guess I should've been using the Oxine regularly. And what's the mix ratio of Oxine to water? I've used 6 oz per gallon. Does that sound right?

If I could bring this to you I would but look up www.shagbarkbantams.com/oxine.htm it's a great thread and thats how I learned about it. Waiting for it to come any day now. What really great about it is you can actually spray your birds with it. Hope this helps.
