ok i have a old pack and play and i am runing out of ideas for a home for my new hatched baby chick it will have a heating lamp food and water to and i dont mind cleanig it i just want to know if it will hurt it or not work

The chick needs a heat source..I use an old tote box to put the chick in. If you have an old lamp, take the shade off and fix the lamp so it can hang over where the chick is..VERY securely. And the area needs to big enough for the chick to get away from the light, incase it gets too hot. We have a cat so I cut a hole in the top of the tote lid, and secured metal screen to the tote lid so the light could shine in. It works perfectly. I can send a pic if you need to see one.
