Paint Silkies ~ European Lines

I am going to take some out of the cages today that may show better. I don't think pink...Could be darker but so far I am pleased. These showgirls can turn on you.

I am just now finding the time to post a few updates.

This is my started group. In another larger pen I have 6 mature pullets (paint) that are laying right now. I am still crossing to blacks. The paint to paint gives you very high percentages of paints but I still prefer using blacks to improve the type.

Foot feathering on all these birds is awesome.

Wings are not all great but they are hot in most of these pictures. In case you haven't heard...Texas has been breaking records with temps this summer. To say the least, it has been WORK keeping them alive.

The cages behind these showgirls have more paints. They are younger and I have to wait until they are too big for a snake.

Beautiful Bren! What a neat looking set up too! I have been thinking about using my rabbit cages as brooders/grow outs. I especially like the showgirls

I am bathing birds for a show tomorrow and this guy is looking very good at this POINT IN TIME. This can change overnight so I will just hold my breath.

I would probably take points off for wings but otherwise he is pretty darn good....again, AT THIS POINT. any off color you see in this is from the flash of camera....he is really nearly perfect WHITE.
