Pallet Coop Add-on...Almost Done (1-25-09)

Quote:
The roof is slanted from front to back. It has about a 3deg pitch, just enough for rain run-off.

I wanted to have space under the coops for shade during the summer. I am going to screen in the bottom so they have access from the run in the back.

Thanks for your inputs...

Today was a good coop day. I made some great progress. All siding and roof panels are installed. The doors are all done, pop doors too. I think its going to be a pretty nice place for my chickens...

I agree! Great Job! My father in law has been retired since September and he does alot of dumpster diving for me. Other than the occassional role of chicken wire I havent had to buy any materiar for any of the Goat, Chicken, Pig, Quail and brooders yet. I hope I come by some Pallets real soon, I'm very inspired right now! Maybe I will put an ad on craigslist or Freecycle.

It looks fantastic!! You made it look so easy

. I can't wait to get started on my own!!!!

Jenlyn, just check the free section on craigslist. We have people and companies around us that are always geting rid of pallets.
