Tops pellets have a hard, plasticy texture and smell like grass. I have been unable to convince a single bird in 5 years to eat one pellet from them, though they accept basically everything else.

I recently got Harrisons samples. Also refused by almost all my birds. My finches ate them given no choice, just to use them up.

Lafebers products are my favorite, I use Roudybush as well, and the quaker also eats some Zupreem.

I've contacted TOP's and Parrot Supplies Australia who distributes them here, got a response from TOP's, still waiting for PSA, hopefully get one soon. I really want to try the TOP's brand.

Right now Luna's on Harrison's and she seems to like it. I've been mixing in some Roudybush too, since that's what I was using for my Quaker before and I also got samples from them. If she takes to it, I'll probably switch her, since Cricket has nibbled at the Roudybush and if I can get them both on the same diet that would make life much easier, lol.

Not to mention Roudybush is just way easier to get; I can order it on Amazon and get it in two days with Prime. Harrison's makes it a lot harder since most pet stores don't carry it, and they do sell it from their website but then you also have to pay shipping, etc.

I finally convinced Luna to take a bath in the shower :) Weekly baths will help cut down on all the dust.

I have been trying to bathe my parrots but I do it out in their aviaries, not all of them are tame enough to shower. However, we have water restrictions here because of the drought so I just have to use a spray bottle which takes AGES!

Also, Luna is so cute! Love her pearling, Terry is losing his as he gets his adult feathers.

So I found some parrot pellets for my parrots. I got this brand called Peckish Naturals. They are cold-pressed and seem okay for the moment. I also ordered a small bag or TOP's (which was not cheap!) to try out and see if they eat it.

Also, good news, Terry's wing feathers are growing back! He is finally staring to fly! I'm now working on teaching him to fly as he never fledged because the breeder clipped him as a baby. That makes all my parrots flighted :)
