I wish. They are only found in the wild far north, I'm more southeast. I do however get plenty of beautiful birds near me like sulpher-crested cockatoos, galahs, corellas, yellow-tailed black cockatoos, red-rumped parrots, rainbow lorikeets and kookaburras, to name a few. We have some pretty amazing birds here.

Hi folks I am new to this thread. I live in Georgia. I have a Blue Font Conure named Moses. He is at least 15 years old. I used to have a African Grey she died at 16 yrs from cancer. I really miss her. Moses used to pick his feathers all the time and now they won't grow back but I love him anyway.

Lady Gouldians are probably at the top of my list for finches, if I were ever to get some.

Well, Cricket made another escape, this time through the big door on the front of his cage that I KNOW I didn't leave open. He did let me pick him up and put him back again.

Good thing my old lady cat has never been one for hunting anything, because she's been in that room all day, and he could have been out for hours. If it had been my other cat, he might have been toast. But that cat isn't allowed in the room with the birds without supervision, for that reason.
