Partridge Pekin Pullets......I hope!???

Hi everyone

We have 2 newbies gorgeous partridge pekins - they are 4 months old

Was fairly certain they were girlies but the darker one is giving me some doubts.....some of the feathers have an almost blue sheen.....is that normal?

Would really appreciate your advice and comments - they came from the same hatching and are well bonded but we can't have a rooster so want to swap early if needed

Yes it is and yes they are Partridge Pekins.

The dark one is probably a cockerel, and the second one might be, too.

They both look like cockerels to me.

They look like Partridge Cochin (Pekin) mixes, they are cockerels too.

Well at five am this morning it was confirmed! A definite attempt at crowing! Not sure which one but I am guessing that yes they are both males as so similar in shape and size

Will take them back and see if we can swap - any tips on what to look out for in the search for sisters !?!

The breeder brought these ones to me so hoping if I see them all together I can notice a difference!
