Once again asking for help on this one. I’m having a hard time finding good info on this breed and I’m not sure if this one is going to end up to be a roo. It’s from the pullet bin at Meyer Hatchery, but already have one accidental roo from there, so maybe I’m
paranoid. Can anyone familiar with the Partridge Penedesenca breed tell me what the think? Thanks!

Chick is 5 weeks old.

Update: 8 weeks old. Comb continues to get pinker, but still salmon on the breast. Still a pullet, @RoostersAreAwesome ?

Thank you for posting such great pics. I have 2ea. 6 week old Partridge Penedsencas, from Meyer. Both supposed to be female. But both are very different from each other in size and coloring. I am fairly sure the smallest one is female, but the much larger one with green/willow legs is the one I'm concerned may be a cockerel, or a mixed breed. It appears to be a female? The smaller one has grey - slate legs which I understand to be the standard, and it's markings are vivid.

They’re both pullets. But it’s kinda hard to see the pictures, they’re very small, even when I click on them

Green legs indicates some mixture; they should be slate. It's not a PP cockerel.

FYI a juvenile (3 month old) partridge penedensca cockerel looks like this (the bird in front of the lavender araucana broody; two partridge penedensca pullets behind)
