Partridge Rock Thread

I'm brand new to Partridge Rocks and have a new pullet chick. I'm really happy with the coloring that she is feathering out in-caramel on her head and brown on her body with distinct dark penciling. Very pretty.

[/IMG]I have seen some darker colored PRs in pics online. My question is, is her color considered okay?

You need to wait until she is completely grown out to tell.

Where did you get her?

He is still young at 6 months old and very nice.

Hey everyone! I hopped bak on the PR bandwagon, after having my heart broken when I lost my original PR to Marek's last fall - to this day, she is still my favorite chicken ever.
I was afraid of getting another PR and being disappointed by the personality, so I put it off for a long time, and finally decided to take the plunge.

I ordered 2 PR's from My Pet Chicken, and one is the SWEETEST. She rivals my first girl.

The other is more stand offish, and is also feathering really slowly, and more dark. I'm wondering if he's a boy?

They are two weeks old.

Boy? Dark feathers, no tail.

Girl. lighter feathers, more quick to feather out.
