Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

Pics
Just thought I would post a pic of my Partridge boy. He is about 7 months old now. I can't seem to get a good pic of my girls. Well, the older one is always broody it seems and the younger girls just won't hold still.

hmmm my favorite breeds are all feather legs! so they'd be shown against the silkies as well.

old english game bantams are really sweet little clean legged bantams usually. Seramas are tiniest of the tiniest. D'anvers are small and sweet as well.

I have an idea! Shave their legs and call them, ummmm; oh I'll think of something.

Oh goodness. I am at a loss at the moment (brain fart in other words). I have been so into Silkies that I haven't paid much attention to the world around me. Hey anybody got any ideas? Maybe your best bet would be to go to the ABA and check around there. Or start your own thread on here. I'm sure you will probably get tons of ideas.

Other small bantams include dutch, sebright, Old English and Moderns. Peronally I would steer her towards the moderns--the "ballerinas" of the poultry world.. Super sweet personalities and a unique look. If you really want seramas, only white is a recognised variety at this point.

Ok are we going to say what we really think about some of these pics without hurting feelings or are we just showing pictures for fun? I do not want to come off as mean or anything to anyone! I REALLY want to no what people think when I post a pic of one of my birds and I am guessing the people posting want to really no too???? To long, bad wing, color isn't right ect. I mean really the only time I get to see birds other than my friends is at a show so I want to hear what others REALLY think ???? Am I the only one on this?? This is a partri thread for learning right? I hope this doesn't come off sounding mean in anyway bc I sure don't want it to!

I've don't think you are ever mean. Sure we want to know.
Barrelchick, I know I said that was a boy but with that picture it looks like a pullet, mostly because of the color. Type is real nice for a young bird. You need more black in the chest. I want to see your breeding rooster.

I got these guys almost 3 years ago from a person that is suppose to be one of the top breeders. I have shown some of the ones pictures and their offspring and have done pretty good. My son got Reserve Breed in April.
