Partridge Silkies - Nothing else

Awww, so cute!

Let me know how that black looking one turns out. On my Partridge Wyandotte bantam chicks that is closer to how they look as babies - not the striped ones.

Thanks!

This one? I have two in the batch that aren't silkie, but this one is a silkie.

Yes, that's the one. Is it from partridge breeding? The coloration is just so different - it almost looks like from a barred or cuckoo breeding...

Mommy is doing the pancake - she must be hatching out more.

Well, my first inclination is to answer yes because I have 3 partridge pullets and 1 partridge hen (Ms. pancake there) and they would all share the nest (though they have 4 nest boxes). But I also have a black hen that would sneak in there now and again also. So there is a one in five chance it may be hers.

I still think it will be partridge though - I think it will be silver partridge. I would love to have another black though! There is a total of 16 babies between two of the girls.

I have 3 silkies, One of my hens is acting strange. I refer it to verdigo, she cant stand well, sometimes whn she walks its like shes drunk.Ive asked local feed stores, the one I bought her from too and no one can give me an answer, can anyone tell me what it could be??

How long has she been doing this for? There are so many possibilities. Bad food - head trauma - Marek's disease ... post a thread in the emergency section and somebody who knows more of what to ask will help you with her. This thread is sort of back-water from the mainstream.
